Go Ape & the David Marshall Lodge
For a truly amazing experience a visit to the David Marshall Lodge and the Go Ape adventure course is a must. Flying 40 foot above the Waterfall in the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park is Britains longest zip wire and woodland adventure course. Whether you want to try it or just want to watch those brave enough to have a go, a visit to the David Marshall Lodge should be top of your list when visiting the Trossachs National Park and Aberfoyle. SS Sir Walter Scott & Loch Katrine
Magicians, jugglers, ghost stories by the campfire, candlelit ghost walk, arts and crafts, lucky dip and dooking for apples. Bring a torch. All children must be accompanied. Tickets are limited for this popular event, which is regarded as one of the highlights of the season. BBQ and drink included. Early booking is advised to avoid disappointment.
The Lake of Monteith & Inchmaholme Priory
Set on an island in the Lake of Menteith, Inchmahome is an idyllically-situated Augustinian monastery dating from 1238. Much of the 13th century building remains. There is a wide range of plant and wildlife on the island. Access can only be gained by boat, follow the signs from the Port of Monteith, park and make your way to the Jetty. To attract the boat simply turn the signal post round. Don't forget your camera as you will truly be rewarded with some wonderful shots.
Blair Drummond Safari Park
